This creamy Easy Coleslaw comes together in 5 minutes, using ingredients you probably already have in your pantry. The easiest side dish you can make!
The perfect base
Everyone has their own preferences for add-ins when it comes to coleslaw. For the recipe, I tried to make the simplest version so you can adjust how you like.
I personally need celery seeds in my coleslaw, so I put that as an optional ingredient. You can leave it out, but it gives it so much more flavor and a little more crunch.
As far as other add-ins go, the options are endless.
I’ve added raisins or dried cranberries for some sweetness. Almonds would also be nice for some more crunch.
If you like a little heat, add some hot sauce or horseradish. Just remember to add you extra ingredients in the WW Recipe Builder since they will most likely increase the points.
I will say, though, that the easy version is just perfect to top a BBQ Pulled Chicken Sandwich or Crispy Buffalo Chicken Sandwich.

This Cole Slaw is excellent! My family recipe has way more sugar and mayo in it so I just stayed away from it but this is delicious much healthier!

Awesome! I was skeptical when I first experimented because ti seemed so simple and not a lot of sauce compared to what I’m used to making. Turns out it doesn’t need all that sauce at all!
Emily says
Do you have a preference in using sugar or honey? If you use sugar, is the texture a bit grainy?
Geri says
I’ve done it both ways and don’t find it to be too grainy with regular sugar.

Love this dressing for it’s light & homemade without all the added sugar.

I like this simple and quick recipe and love knowing it’s healthier then my homemade coleslaw which is delicious but definitely way more calories. Thanks!

Thank you, Yvonne! They’re two of my favorite easy sides, plus they’re great for potlucks since everyone loves them.
