This homemade pizza sauce comes together in under 15 minutes, using ingredients that you most likely already have in your pantry. Don’t forget to make this with the Best Lightened-Up Pizza Crust ever!
Store-bought pizza sauces are fine, but I haven’t been able to find a brand that is 0 SP. I mean, it should just be tomatoes and spices, right? But most brands include lots of sugar and additives, so I feel much better using this recipe. It’s so easy and quick that there’s really no reason to rely on those jarred sauces anyway!
As far as servings go, I usually get about 2-3 pizzas out of this recipe. But the servings will really depend on how much sauce you like on your pizza. The whole recipe is 0 SP, so do what you will! You can refrigerate leftovers for about a week, or freeze for about 3 months. I like to freeze the sauce in divided portions so I can just take one of them out to thaw the morning I plan to use it. Or, if you’re pulling together a last-minute meal, you can microwave the frozen sauce for about 1-2 minutes to defrost.

Made it today. Delicious. I did not have garlic powder so I used garlic salt. Used this sauce on my 2 ingredient dough recipe with turkey pepperoni and cheese. Thank you !!!!

I just put the Nutritional Info from this receipe on WW and it came up as 3 points.
Geri says
Hmm that’s strange. Perhaps you’re using a brand of tomatoes that has extra sugar in it?
