I’ll admit that London Broil isn’t the most tender cut of beef, but it’s always on sale, so I needed to find a way to make it work. We’re on a tight budget, so better cuts of meat are pretty much out of the question. This method makes it much more tender and flavorful. I hope you like it!
Marinated London Broil
Servings: 8
Ingredients
- 2 lb london broil
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
- 2 tbsp worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tbsp fresh rosemary chopped
- 1 tbsp fresh thyme chopped
- freshly ground pepper to taste
- 1/4` cup olive oil
Instructions
- Add all ingredients into a Ziploc bag. Refrigerate overnight.
- Set a large skillet to medium-high heat. Remove meat from marinade and dry off with paper towels.
- Spray skillet with olive oil spray, then quickly add in meat. For medium-rare, sear for 7 minutes on one side, then flip and sear for another 5 minutes until internal temperature reaches 110 (for medium rare). If you like you steak at a different temp, adjust accordingly.

Hello! How did you account for the marinade in the pts? Or did you leave it out? Thanks!
Geri @ Lite Cravings says
The general rule is to add 1 point for the marinade since most gets discarded anyway, but some people opt not to track it at all. Hope that helps!
