Healthier Buffalo Chicken Dip is a new game day favorite! All of the flavor of the original recipe, but with a few healthier alternative ingredients.

Ingredients

  • 3 cups cooked, shredded chicken breast (about a pound)
  • 2/3 cup Franks Red Hot Wing Sauce
  • 4 ounces reduced-fat cream cheese softened
  • 1 cup nonfat plain Greek yogurt
  • 1 cup reduced-fat shredded cheddar cheese (or any cheese blend)
  • 2 tbsp Ranch seasoning (can sub with 1 tsp each garlic and onion powder)
  • green onions, for garnish
  • carrots, celery, tortilla chips for serving

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350F. In a large bowl, mix together chicken, cream cheese, hot sauce, yogurt, shredded cheese, and seasoning.
  • Spread evenly into an 8x8 or 9x9 pan. Sprinkle top with extra shredded cheese, if desired.
  • Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until dip is bubbly. Serve with chips and veggies.

STOVETOP METHOD

  • Follow above instructions, but in a large saucepan, over medium heat. Cook, stirring often, until cheeses melt through. Transfer to a serving dish.
